The first secret chest becomes available immediately after completing the Crypt Security encounter.
After the encounter ends, proceed through the newly opened door and follow the path deeper into the facility. Before continuing toward Atraks-1, look for a side room hidden along the route.
The chest is located inside this room and can be opened by any member of the fireteam.
After leaving Crypt Security, continue through the hallway leading toward the next section of the raid.
As you progress through the facility, look for the hidden room branching off the main path.
Enter the room and open the chest before continuing toward Atraks-1.
Because the chest is located directly along the raid route, it is difficult to miss once players know where to look.
The chest can reward previously acquired Deep Stone Crypt weapons and armor.
It can be collected once per character each week.
The second secret chest is located during Descent, the traversal section between Atraks-1 and Taniks Reborn.
Often referred to by the community as the Spacewalk section, this area takes players across the exterior hull of the Morning Star station.
The chest is hidden off the main route and requires a short detour before reaching the final airlock.
After exiting the Morning Star and beginning the exterior traversal section, continue following the normal path across the station.
Partway through the route, look for an alternate platform extending away from the main walkway.
Follow this side path to reach a hidden platform containing the chest.
Once the chest has been collected, return to the main route and continue progressing toward the final airlock.
Because the chest is located during one of the most memorable sections of the raid, many players incorporate it into every weekly clear.
The chest can reward previously acquired Deep Stone Crypt weapons and armor.
It can be collected once per character each week.
