Rather than progressing through a traditional raid, fireteams face a series of boss encounters back-to-back, testing their mastery of raid mechanics, communication, and damage output. Each encounter retains the core mechanics that made these bosses memorable while presenting them in a condensed gauntlet format.

The activity features Gahlran, Argos, and Emperor Calus, giving players the opportunity to revisit some of Destiny 2’s most memorable raid encounters in a modern setting. Success requires strong teamwork and consistent execution, as mistakes become increasingly costly throughout the run. Players familiar with the original raids will recognize many of the mechanics, but completing the gauntlet still demands coordination and efficient damage phases from the entire team.

Like previous Pantheon events, Calus Resplendent is designed as a challenging endgame experience. Enemies are more threatening than their standard raid counterparts, and encounters place a greater emphasis on clean execution and survivability. Fireteams looking to complete Triumphs and activate Feats will need to meet additional encounter-specific objectives, adding another layer of challenge beyond simply defeating each boss.
