Prophecy
Prophecy Overview

The Prophecy dungeon in Destiny 2 was introduced during Season of Arrivals in June 2020, sending Guardians into a surreal realm shaped by the mysterious The Nine. Set beyond the boundaries of known space, the dungeon presents a shifting landscape of impossible geometry and symbolic environments, where Light and Darkness are placed in direct contrast. As players progress through this otherworldly domain, they are challenged to interpret the meaning behind what they see while navigating a world that constantly blurs the line between reality and illusion.

As a three-player endgame activity, Prophecy revolves around managing Light and Dark motes, requiring fireteams to coordinate positioning and timing to progress through each encounter. Players will face formidable enemies such as Phalanx Echo and the final boss, Kell Echo, while adapting to mechanics that shift the battlefield in real time. With its striking visual design, unique gameplay systems, and rewarding loot pool, Prophecy stands out as one of Destiny 2’s most memorable and visually distinct dungeon experiences.
